This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the End of the Second World War which officially falls on September 2nd. The United States Mint has already honored the historic event of 1945 on the 2020-W America the Beautiful circulating quarter dollars with the special privy mark, “V75”, and two of the five designs have already been circulating. But there was an interesting update on their 2020 production schedule of unknowns that popped up this week.

While a majority of their production schedule has been deemed “TBD” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, two items were, at the very least, updated with images, mintages, and product descriptions. Those two items we have been personally eyeballing for a while...read more

U.S. Mint Sets Release Date For Basketball HOF Commemorative Coins

In early April, we talked about the Basketball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coin program from the United States Mint and how it was affected by everything going on in the world right now. It was one of many product releases pushed to “TBD” on the Mint’s production schedule despite its original April 4th release day that was supposed to fall in line with the Final Four of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. While there are still a majority of unknowns on their schedule, the Mint was finally able to set a date for the release of the coins.
