What's Coming Our Way from the United States Mint

The United States Mint has updated their 2025 Production Schedule through the Summer, and we are looking at some pretty exciting products in the coming months. The month of June kicked off with the release of the 2025 American Women's Quarter honoring Dr. Vera Rubin and the 2025 W Burnished American Gold Eagle, but let us look ahead even further.

In a couple of days on June 13th, we will see the first of three 250th Anniversary American Silver Eagle Coins honoring different military branches. The first highlights the United States Army and will be struck at West Point in a Proof finish. A privy mark showcasing the Army’s emblem will be featured above IN GOD WE TRUST on the obverse. Retailing at $105.00, the mintage and product limits are set at 100,000. They will be available on the 13th on a Presale, with shipping expected to start at the end of July.

The Mint will not release anything else until July 10th when the 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar and the 2025 Peace Silver Dollar are available. Both struck at Philadelphia, they will be featured in an Uncirculated condition and retail for $91 each.

July 17th will see another annual set issued as the 2025 Uncirculated (Mint) Set from Philadelphia and Denver will be available for collectors. The 20-coin set will retail for $33.25.

A week later, the first coins in the DC Comics Coin & Medal Program will be issued depicting Superman. The 2025-dated products will come in the form of a 2.5oz Silver Medal from Philadelphia, a 1oz Silver Medal from Philadelphia, and a 1/2oz Proof 24kt Gold Coin from West Point.

Rounding out the month of July will be the third of four 2025 American Innovation $1 Coin releases. Honoring Texas, the design depicts an American astronaut during a spacewalk outside the International Space Station. The image itself symbolizes the pinnacle of support given by the Mission Control Center for NASA’s human space program in terms of economic, logistical, and intellectual backing. The design also celebrates the support of its astronauts from several different countries that take part in the International Space Station program. The $1 coins will be available from Philadelphia and Denver in 25-coin rolls ($36.25 each) and 100-coin bags ($123.50 each).

August 7th will see another annual release in the 2025 Silver Proof Set from San Francisco. Retailing for $150, the mintage and product limit is already set at 185,002. All five American Women Quarters, the Kennedy half dollar, and the Roosevelt dime will be struck in .999 fine silver with all 10 coins featured in a stunning Proof finish.

The summertime releases continue on August 20th with a bit of a question mark. The Mint has a 2025 1oz American Silver Eagle Coin from West Point featuring a Laser Beam Privy Mark on the schedule. Details have not been revealed, but this interesting product has already caused quite a numismatic stir already.

August 21st will see the American Liberty Series continue in 2025 as the Proof 1oz High Relief 24kt Gold Coin from West Point and Proof 1oz Silver Medal from Philadelphia will be available. The end of the month will also feature the 2025 American Innovation $1 Proof Set.

September kicks off on the 2nd with the 2025 Proof Morgan Silver Dollar and Peace Silver Dollar releases. A few days later on the 4th, the Reverse Proof Palladium American Eagle will be issued. Later in the month will finally see the 2025 Proof American Silver Eagle from San Francisco and the next releases in the DC Comics Coin & Medal Program depicting Batman.

Fall is also looking quite jam packed as the remaining 250th Anniversary Proof American Silver Eagle Coins honoring the military branches will feature the Navy and Marine Corps will be released. Wonder Woman will be the last release of the year for the DC Comics Coin & Medal Program, the Limited Edition Silver Proof Set from San Francisco will be available, and the 2025 Reverse Proof Morgan Silver Dollar and Peace Dollar Set will be issued.

There has been one final product showcased on the schedule with no indication when it will be dropped. Celebrating 25 years of the Sacagawea $1 Coin, the Mint will release a 25th anniversary coin in 1/2oz 24kt Gold with a Proof finish. Struck at West Point, there is no telling when we will get a chance at this golden dollar.

As always, dates are subject to change.
