Tomorrow the United States Mint will begin a presale for the first of three 250th Anniversary American Silver Eagles honoring United States military branches this year. Beginning at 12pm EST, a 2025 Proof American Silver Eagle with the 250th Anniversary United States Army Privy will be available.
Struck at West Point, 1oz .999 fine American Silver Eagle will be featured in the usual stunning Proof finish. The obverse will feature the U.S. Army emblem just above IN GOD WE TRUST and to the right of Liberty. Limited to just 100,000, the coin will have an initial household limit of three and retail for $105.00. The Silver Eagle will also feature an anti-counterfeit reeded edge variation to enhance security. This was introduced in 2021 with the reverse design change and has been implemented on all American Eagle products.
The coins will go on sale tomorrow but will not be expected to start shipping until late July. The other two coins will be expected in the Fall as they will honor the 250th Anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy.
