2026 Silver Proof Set Available Today From U.S. Mint

The first annual set of 2026 will be released today in the form of the 2026 Silver Proof Set. The special edition set will honor and mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of the nation with semiquincentennial program coins, including one-year-only issues. Beginning at 12pm EST, you can own the set for $245.

Struck at San Francisco, all 10 coins will have a Proof finish and bear the ‘S’ mint mark. The half dollar, all five quarters, and the dime are struck in .999 fine silver. In addition, the set will contain a Jefferson nickel, Native American dollar, and a Lincoln cent. Despite the United States Mint ceasing penny production in the Fall of 2025, they will continue striking numismatic pennies that will come ONLY in annual sets.
