2026 Emerging Liberty Dime Releasing Tomorrow From the U.S. Mint

Tomorrow beginning at 12pm EST, the United States Mint will continue their 250th Anniversary of America celebration with the release of the one-year-only, special issue Emerging Liberty Dime.

Available in bags and rolls from Philadelphia and Denver, the 2026 semiquincentennial dime will feature a steadfast Liberty facing right with the wind blowing through her hair. The Mint describes the wind as a revolution as “she faces the tyranny of the British monarchy.” Wearing a liberty cap with stars and stripes, the obverse also features the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 1776 ~ 2026. The mint mark, either P or D, will be to the right of Liberty.

The reverse design depicts and eagle in flight carrying arrows in its talons, which represent the American Revolution and the fight for independence. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DIME, and LIBERTY OVER TYRANNY are inscribed.
