The 2003-P First Flight Centennial Silver Dollar is a commemorative coin issued by the United States Mint to celebrate the centennial (100th anniversary) of the Wright Brothers' historic first powered flight. The obverse (front) of the coin shows a portrait of the two brothers, Wilbur and Orville. On the reverse their plane from their very flight can be seen.

Commemorative silver dollars are typically made of 90% silver and 10% copper, adhering to the standard composition for these types of coins. The "P" mint mark indicates that the coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. These coins were offered in both proof and uncirculated condition. The Law also authorized the U.S. Mint to produce not more than 100,000 gold ten-dollar, 500,000 silver one-dollar and 750,000 clad half-dollar coins.
