The American Silver Eagle coin minted in 2012 with the "W" mint mark, indicating it was struck at the West Point Mint. Burnished Silver Eagles have a special finish, creating a matte-like appearance. The grade MS70 stands for "Mint State 70" on the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale. It is the highest grade a coin can receive and indicates a perfect, flawless specimen without any noticeable imperfections.

The obverse of the Silver American Eagle features a detailed portrayal of Lady Liberty, designed by Adolph A. Weinman.
