The 21st issue of the American Platinum Eagle bullion coin, the 2023 Platinum Eagle 1oz Coin doesn't disappoint.  Released by the United States Mint in 1 troy ounce of .9995 pure platinum, each coin holds a $100 face value guaranteed by the United States Government.

2023 Platinum Eagle Coin

The design remains unchanged in 2023, with John Mercanti’s “Portrait of Liberty” featuring Lady Liberty's face along with the following inscriptions on the obverse: "LIBERTY", "2023 IN GOD WE TRUST" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The reverse the features Thomas D. Rogers Sr.’s “Soaring Bald Eagle” which depicts a Bald Eagle soaring over a sunrise/sunset with the following inscriptions: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", ".9995 PLATINUM 1 OZ." and "$100".

Each 2023 Platinum American Eagle coin will arrive in a protective plastic flip.
