The Models for the Coins were prepared by Gutzon Borglum, Who would later sculpt Mount Rushmore. The first coins were struck at Philadelphia on January 21, 1925 General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson's Birthday.
The 1925 Stone Mountain half dollar was struck to honor the Southern Civil War heroes at Stone Mountain. The obverse features Generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson on horseback, two Confederate war heroes. The reverse features an eagle perched on a rock. This silver half dollar commemorative is featured in an Extra Fine to Almost Uncirculated condition and will arrive in a cap and box.

Almost Uncirculated can be described as trace of wear seen on higher points of design. Bits of lust may remain. Then Brilliant Uncirculated indicates the coin has never been used as money so it shows no wear from circulation and still retains original mint luster.
