Hannibal's Enduring Legacy

Hannibal Barca, born in 247 BC in Carthage, was one of history’s greatest military commanders, famous for leading his army—and war elephants—across the Alps to take the fight to Rome during the Second Punic War. His stunning victory at the Battle of Cannae in 216 BC, where he crushed a much larger Roman force, is still studied in military schools today. Known for his brilliant tactics and fierce leadership, Hannibal inspired loyalty among his troops and left a lasting mark on the art of warfare. His life ended in exile around 183 BC, but his legacy lives on, celebrated through history and collectibles that honor his remarkable achievements.
