2025 American Women Quarters Silver Proof Set Now Available from the U.S. Mint

Last week, the United States Mint released the 2025 American Women Quarters Silver Proof Set in Original Government Packaging. Struck at San Francisco in 99.9% silver, the five quarters are available right now for $95.

The common obverse features the portrait of George Washington, which was originally created and sculpted by Laura Gardin Fraser who entered the design in competition for the 1932 quarter. Inscriptions read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2025.

The four-year series, which began in 2022 and will end this year, honors notable American women who made significant contributions in several different fields, including civil rights, abolition, science, space, the arts, suffrage, and government.
