1868 (No Mint Mark - Philadelphia) Indian Head Cent About Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated (AU/BU) Condition

In 1868 there were 10,266,500 of these Indian Head Cents minted at the Philadelphia Mint (no mintmark on the coin). The obverse (front) of the coin features a left-facing bust of Liberty adorned with a feathered headdress, commonly known as an Indian Head. The word "LIBERTY" is inscribed on the band of the headdress. The reverse (back) displays a wreath of oak leaves and acorns encircling the denomination "ONE CENT" and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."

In AU/BU condition, the coin will exhibit minimal wear, with most of the original mint luster intact. There may be slight friction on the highest points of the design, but the overall appearance will be nearly flawless. The coin will have sharp details and well-defined edges, with no significant blemishes or marks.
