1933 Denver Mint (D) Lincoln Wheat Ears Reverse Cent Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) Condition
Victor D. Brenner designed this cent, which was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. Minted from 1909-1958 in a composition of .950 copper and .050 tin and zinc with a diameter of 19mm. The Lincoln type was the first cent to have the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST". Minted at the Denver Mint bearing a "D" mint-mark there is a mintage of 6,200,000 of these 1933 D Lincoln Wheat Cent Coins.
