1948-1963 Franklin Half Dollar Date Sets

The Franklin Half Dollar series (1948–1963) pays tribute to Benjamin Franklin, one of America’s most celebrated Founding Fathers. Designed by John R. Sinnock, the series is revered for its classic and straightforward design, emphasizing Franklin's legacy and the nation's symbols of freedom and independence. The obverse features Franklin’s iconic portrait, accompanied by the inscriptions “LIBERTY”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and the date 1961. The reverse highlights the Liberty Bell, complete with its historical crack, flanked by a small eagle to meet legal requirements.

Each set comes with 4 envelopes containing 4 coins each. You will receive 1 coin from each year of Franklin Half Dollar issue.  The coins will be in average circulated condition, dates and mint marks for each year will be at random.
