1936 Long Island Commemorative Tercentenary Half Dollar Extra Fine Almost Uncirculated (XF/AU) Condition Coin
1936 Long Island Tercentenary Half Dollar, the 300th anniversary of the first white settlement on Long Island New York, which was made at Jamaica Bay by Dutch colonists. Designed by Howard kenneth weinman, the heads (obverse) depicts a Dutch settler and an Algonquin Indian and the reverse depicts a Dutch sailing vessel.

Struck in 90% silver composition with a net weight of 12.5g of fine silver, the souvenir issue 1936 Commemorative Half Dollar Long Island Tercentenary coins have a distribution of 81,826 units and remain a collectable coin to this day.
