1831 Capped Bust Dime Extremely Fine to Almost Uncirculated (XF/AU)Condition

The 1831 Capped Bust Dime is a highly collectible coin minted by the United States Mint. It features the Capped Bust design, with Liberty facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap with the word "LIBERTY" inscribed on a band. The reverse side features a wreath surrounding the denomination "10 C." for ten cents. Designed by John Reich with a weight of 2.7 grams and a composition of .8924 silver and .1076 copper. Although the coins do not show a mint mark, all Capped Bust dimes were minted at the Philadelphia Mint.

1833 Capped Bust Half Dime VF/XF

In XF (Extremely Fine) to AU (About Uncirculated) condition, this coin shows only light wear on the highest points of the design. From XF the LIBERTY letters are sharp with distinct ear and hair above eye is well defined to AU where there are traces of light wear on only the high points of the design with half of mint luster present
