1835 Capped Bust Quarter Very Good to Fine Condition (VG/F)

The 1835 Capped Bust quarter is of Variety 2 in the series which has a reduced diameter from Variety 1 and has the Motto removed.  1835 was the largest mintage year for the variety with 1,952,000 made. In VG/F (Very Good to Fine) condition is a collectible coin with historical significance. These capped bust quarters were designed by William Kneass and weigh 6.74 grams with a composition of .894 silver and .1076 copper.  Although there are no mint-marks all of these quarters were minted at the Philadelphia Mint.
