The second of three 250th Anniversary American Silver Eagles honoring the United States military branches this year will be available tomorrow, October 10th, from the United States Mint. Beginning at 12pm EST, a 2025 Proof American Silver Eagle with the 250th Anniversary United States Navy Privy will be available.
Struck in 1oz of .999 fine silver, the San Francisco minted American Silver Eagle will be featured in a stunning Proof finish. The United States Navy emblem will sit just above IN GOD WE TRUST on the obverse, acting as a Privy mark to commemorate its birthday on October 13, 2025. Limited to 100,000 in product and mintage, the coin will be retail for $105.00 and will feature an anti-counterfeit reeded edge variation to enhance security. This was introduced in 2021 with the reverse design change and has been implemented on all American Eagle products.
The Silver Eagle is limited to one per household and will come in a blue presentation case accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Still to come of the series is the 250th Anniversary of the United States Marine Corps. That third and final coin is slated for a November 10th release.
