A must have for any numismatic collector will be released today by the United States Mint. Struck at West Point, the 2025 Reverse Proof Palladium Eagle will be available on their website.
Featuring the likeness of Adolph A. Weinman’s Winged Liberty from the Mercury dime on the obverse, the 1oz .9995 fine palladium coin is struck in high relief with a stunning Reverse Proof finish that blends frosted fields in the background with mirrorlike design elements that seemingly come off the coin. LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2025, and Weinman’s initials are inscribed as well.
The reverse depicts a high relief version of the 1907 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal reverse, which was also designed by Weinman. It showcases an eagle holding down a branch with its talon while also having it in its mouth. Additional inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, $25, 1 OZ. Pd, .9995 FINE, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The first Palladium Eagle bullion coin was introduced by the Mint in 2017. It was then followed with the Proof version in 2018 and the Reverse Proof coin in 2019, both of which had never been done before.
The 2025 Palladium Eagle will come in a black presentation box accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Limited to 6,000 in mintage and product, the household limit is set at one.
