2025 American Liberty Coin & Medal Ready For Release Today

The United States Mint’s production schedule has two products ready for release today beginning at 12pm EST. Featuring a gold coin and silver medal, the American Liberty series continues today with a stunning new design.

Depicting a modern take on American liberty, the obverse for both options feature a sunflower and bee. The image is supposed to symbolize the care required to protect and uphold American liberty. LIBERTY and 2025 are seen inscribed on the silver medal while the gold coin also features the words IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse depicts a swirling eagle. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is seen on the silver medal while additional inscriptions on the gold coin read 100 DOLLARS, 1OZ., .9999 FINE GOLD, and E PLURIBUS UNUM.

Struck at Philadelphia, the 1oz medal is comprised of .999 fine silver while the 24-karat gold coin from West Point is comprised of .9999 fine gold. Both featured in a Proof finish, the gold coin is also produced in High Relief.

The silver medal, retailing for $97.00, is limited to 60,000 in product and mintage with an initial household limit of two. The gold coin is limited to 12,000 in mintage and product with a household limit of just one. Both products will come in black presentation cases accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
