PRODUCT DETAILS/DESCRIPTION
1874 Liberty Seated Quarter With Arrows Very Good to Fine Condition
The 1874 Liberty Seated Quarter with Arrows in Very Good to Fine (VG/F) condition is a classic 19th-century U.S. silver coin struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The arrows on either side of the date indicate a weight change from earlier issues, marking this variety as part of the short-lived 1873–1874 With Arrows sub type.
1874 Liberty Seated Quarter W/Arrows VG/F
Designed by Christian Gobrecht, the obverse features Lady Liberty seated with a shield and pole, while the reverse displays a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings. In VG/F condition, major design elements remain visible with moderate wear—Liberty’s figure and the eagle’s outline are mostly intact, and the date with arrows is clear.
