Since 2007, silver Koala coins from the Australian Perth Mint have been popular among investors being a 99.99% 1 Troy Ounce pure silver coin.

For the 2024 release of the Koala silver coin series, This coin's reverse portrays a koala on a gum tree branch. As well as the inscription ‘KOALA’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P125’ mintmark, and the coin’s weight, purity and year-date. The obverse design featuring the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III along with the 1 Dollar face value. Each coin also includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form a a micro-laser engraved letter.
