2021 Morgan Silver Dollar with 'CC' Privy Mint Mark MS70 PCGS Centennial Blue Label

In 2021, the U.S. Mint re-issued the Morgan Dollar in honor of its last year of minting in 1921. The 2021 Morgan Dollar is part of the Morgan and Peace Dollar Anniversary Coin Program. In 2023, the Mint released additional Morgan Dollar coins in uncirculated, proof, and reverse proof finishes. The "CC" Privy mark here is to recognize the historic Mint in Carson City, NV.

2021 Morgan with 'CC' Privy Mint Mark MS70 PCGS

The Mint produced the 2021 Morgan Dollar with an uncirculated finish in five versions of the reverse to recognize the Mint facilities that minted the original coin. The coins made by the Denver and San Francisco Mint facilities bear “D” and “S” mint marks, respectively. The Philadelphia Mint produced three versions: One without a mintmark, one with an "O" Privy mark recognizing the historic mint New Orleans, LA and the one we have here.
