2015 West Point Mint and Philadelphia Mint (W & P) March of Dimes 3 Coin Commemorative Set in OGP

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the March of Dimes, this special coin set includes a 2015 March of Dimes Proof Silver Dollar and two 90 percent silver dimes, all featuring portraits of Franklin D. Roosevelt. For the first time in United States Mint history this special set includes one dime with a reverse proof finish from the United States Mint a Philadelphia and one from the United States Mint at West Point with a a proof finish.

2015 MARCH OF DIMES PROOF SILVER DOLLAR

The obverse (heads) and reverse (tails) designs are emblematic of the mission and programs of the March of Dimes Foundation and its distinguished record of generating Americans' support to protect children's health. Consistent with the traditions and heritage of the foundation the design themes represent its past, present and future, as well as its roles as a champion for all infants.

The obverse design - representing the past -- depicts a profile view of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Dr. Jonas Salk, two leaders in the fight against polio. The inscriptions are "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2015."

The reverse design depicts a baby cuddled in the hand of a parent, representing the foundation's dedication to the health of babies everywhere. The inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "$1," "MARCH OF DIMES" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."

2015 FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT DIMES

The obverse design features a portrait of President Roosevelt. The inscriptions re "LIBERTY," IN GOD WE TRUST," "2015" and the mint marks "W" for West Point (proof finish) and "p" for Philadelphia (reverse proof finish).

The reverse design is a torch, an olive branch and an oak branch. The inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "ONE DIME."

Each coin in this special set is 90% silver. The mintage for the March of Dimes Silver Dollar is 500,000 across all product options.
