1977 United States Mint Set – Uncirculated Coins from Philadelphia, Denver & San Francisco
The 1977 United States Mint Set includes uncirculated examples of every circulating denomination struck by the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints for the year. Delivered in its Original Government Packaging (OGP), this set continues the modern Mint Set format and offers collectors clean, high-quality examples from all three U.S. Mint facilities. The official mintage for the 1977 Mint Set was 2,006,869 sets.
Inside, collectors will find uncirculated Lincoln Cents, Jefferson Nickels, Roosevelt Dimes, Washington Quarters, Kennedy Half Dollars, and the popular 1977 Eisenhower Dollar from both Philadelphia and Denver. The San Francisco Mint contributes its “S” mintmark business-strike Lincoln Cent and Jefferson Nickel, adding to the set’s mint variety. All coins feature the sharp, bright luster typical of late-1970s Mint Set production.
With separate cellophane panels for each mint, the 1977 Mint Set provides excellent visibility of mintmarks, strike details, and overall quality. This set remains a solid addition for collectors assembling a full run of modern Mint Sets or building a complete Eisenhower Dollar series before the type concluded in 1978.
