1928 San Francisco Peace Dollar Silver Almost Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated Condition
The dollar of new design issued from December 1921 through 1935 was a commemorative peace coin. The Peace dollar was issued without congressional sanction, under the term of the Pittman Act, which referred to the bullion and in no way affected the design. Anthony de Francisci, a medalist, designed this dollar. His monogram is located in the field of the coin under the neck of Liberty.

Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the obverse features a stunning left-facing portrait of Lady Liberty, her flowing hair crowned with rays of light. The reverse showcases a majestic bald eagle perched on a rock, gazing toward the horizon with "PEACE" inscribed below. The 1928S Peace Dollar in AU (About Uncirculated) to BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition retain most of their original luster and detail, with only light wear or contact marks visible on the highest points.
