1927 San Francisco Mint (S) 90% Silver Peace Dollar Extremely Fine to Almost Uncirculated (XF/AU) Condition
The 1927 Peace Silver Dollar, struck at the San Francisco Mint, embodies the nation’s post–World War I optimism with Anthony de Francisci’s elegant design of Lady Liberty crowned by radiant rays on the obverse and a majestic eagle perched on a crag on the reverse. In Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated condition, this coin retains much of its original luster and detail, with only light wear on Liberty’s rays and the eagle’s wing feathers.

1927S Peace Dollars have a mintage of 866,000. Each coin is 90% Silver having a net weight of .77344 ounces of pure silver. A grade of XF (extremely fine) hair lines over brown and ear are strong, though slightly worn and outside wing feathers at right and those at top are visible but faint. The grade of AU (almost uncirculated) the coin has no trace of wear, has full mint luster but possibly noticeably marred by stains, surface marks and/or bag abrasions.
