2023 Great Britain Silver Britannia 1 Ounce (oz) BU Coin

The first Britannia bullion coin was released in 1987 designed by sculptor Philip Nathan. Britannia is standing firm against a powerful gale which whips around her shield, Corinthian helmet and olive branch in this reverse design. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and states the face value denomination of '2 POUNDS' £2. (A Britannia coin featuring King Charles III's first effigy will be released in the new year.)

Each 2023 Silver Britannia sovereign coin contains 1 Troy ounce of .999 fine silver and has a £2 (2 Pound) face value denomination backed by the British Government.
