1907 (Philadelphia Mint - No Mint-Mark) $20 Gold Saint Gaudens "No Motto" Gold Coin Certfieid MS63 by PCGS

Saint Gaudens $20 gold coins with "no motto" were only minted in 1907 and 1908 with the 1907 version including "Arabic Numerals".  "No Motto" means that on the reverse does not include the "IN GOD WE TRUST" motto above the sun/sun-rays. These Saint-Gaudens $20 Gold Coins are also commonly referred to as Gold Double Eagles.

MS63 1908 $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Coin

Considered by many to be the most beautiful U.S. Coin, the $20 gold Saint Gaudens gold coins were designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and weigh in at 33.436 grams with a composition of 90% gold and 10% copper (a net weight of .96750 ounces of pure gold).

On the design of the obverse of the Saint Gaudens Gold coin features Miss Liberty in stride with sun-rays behind her and the words "LIBERTY" above and also the 1908 year-date to the bottom right of the design. The reverse then features an eagle in flight among a sun's rays with the following words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "TWENTY DOLLARS". There is no mint-mark on the reverse of this coin meaning it was struck at the Philadelphia mint.
