At SilverTowne's physical retail storefront in Winchester, Indiana, we buy what is often referred to Silver Scrap or Secondary Market Silver over the front counter all the time from walk-in customers and estates. This silver can often appear tarnished, scratched, has blemishes, has imperfections, etc from sitting in storage for years or being mishandled, but it is still tested and weighed and confirmed to be .999 fine silver and will also be the poured silver.

Our poured bars have gained popularity for their raw esthetic appearance - our customers love the look. Producing this style of silver bars takes quite a bit more time than machine stamped bullion; it is a physically manual process. To begin with, our SilverTowne Craftsman must melt the initial .999 fine silver shot then pour that silver into the appropriated sized graphite molds then lastly cool and hand stamp the SilverTowne Logo along with the Troy Ounce Weight and Fineness on each bar. This process makes each and every poured bar unique for you!

The design will vary between the three different versions shown in the photos, the one with the miner on it is the 'newer' version. Inventory availability on this item depends on our stock on hand at any given time due to being a secondary market item. This will go in and out of stock often.
