2018 West Point Mint (W) Burnished Silver American Eagle (SAE) SP70 PCGS Blue Label

The term "Uncirculated-burnished" refers to the specialized minting process used to create these coins. Although they are similar in appearance to the ordinary Uncirculated (BU) Silver American Eagle Bullion Coins, the burnished coins can be easily distinguished by the addition of a 'W' mintmark on the reverse and the satin-like field behind the frosted features on the coin. Burnished ASEs are made expressly for collectors and still contain 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver.

The FS (first strike) designation guarantees that the coin was received by PCGS within the first 30 days of issue. Each coin will arrive in its certified PCGS case bearing the perfect 70 grade in PCGS's First Strike Flag label.
