SilverTowne Mobile
Look who’s roaming! Yep, we’ve recently launched a brand new mobile version of the SilverTowne website – making it even easier to browse our online store while on the go. The newly designed mobile site gives customers a more convenient way to access the wealth of information available on the SilverTowne website with just their fingertips!
Try it out for yourself by visiting www.silvertowne.com from any smartphone, tablet or other device. The mobile site will load automatically on most phones and devices – and there is also a link to access the mobile version of the site in the footer while viewing the full site. You also have the option to switch back to the full site anytime via a link in the footer on the mobile site.
The mobile site offers many of the same options as the traditional desktop version of the website - from researching and buying products, to accessing market details, to staying informed with SilverTowne’s social media and other informational services. Just like on the full website, bullion prices on the mobile site are updated in real-time to reflect changes in the precious metals market spot pricing, allowing you to make informed decisions when shopping for silver, gold and other metals.
The new mobile site was designed and created in-house by members of the SilverTowne web team, allowing us to better retain the SilverTowne “look and feel” for the site, while at the same time making it easier to access the information and services that SilverTowne customers have come to expect. The first thing you’ll notice when visiting the mobile site is the condensed layout, with large buttons linking to the major categories – including Modern Coins, World Coins, Bullion and Numismatics. Once you tap through to one of those categories you will be presented with sub-categories to help you better narrow down to the products you are searching for (such as Silver American Eagles, coins from Canada, Silver Bars, or Quarters, to name just a few). Upon tapping through to a sub-category you will be able to browse through a list of products, or in many cases you can also drill down even further by selecting another sub-category (such as certified or non-certified for example). Due to space constraints and the nature of the mobile shopping experience, only products currently in stock will display (you will continue to have the option to view out of stock products on the full version of the website). When you see a product that interests you, tap through to that product’s page and you will be able to add it to your cart.
In addition to researching and buying products, you can find current spot prices by selecting the Market link near the bottom of every page. This area also provides you with access to your cart, your account and a link to get back to the homepage. Further down on the page in the footer area you will find information on SilverTowne’s social media pages via the Get Social link, access to informational articles via the Learn link and customer service information via the Help link. You can also get back to the homepage at any time simply by tapping the logo at the top of every page. If you find that there is something not available on the mobile version of the site that you want to access, or if you just prefer the traditional site, you can always switch to the full version via the View Full Site link at the very bottom of every page on the mobile site.
We’ve worked hard to bring you everything you’ve come to expect from SilverTowne, but in this new mobile-friendly format - we’re confident that you’ll find it a more convenient way to browse our website while on the go.
