The 1804 Dollar (also often referred to as the "Dexter Dollar" and the "King of American Coins") carries a lot of history and intrigue. There are very few 1804 Dollars known to be in existence and numismatists have found that they were first struck at the Mint in the 1834 through 1835 period, so never in it's actual year-date of 1804. The rare coin uses the Draped Bust Silver Dollar Obverse and has the Heraldic Eagle Reverse.

This replica obverse design features a likeness of the Draped Bust dollar which has Lady Liberty along with 13 Stars and the word "LIBERTY" and the year-date of "1804" around the edge. The replica reverse design is modeled after the Heraldic Eagle Reverse with several inscriptions; in place of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, this medallion has "THE KING OF AMERICAN COINS • COPY" inscribed along the rim of the design as well as the weight and purity designation of "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER" beneath the eagle's talons as well as the aforementioned "DEXTER" and "HENDRICKSON" inscriptions in the ribbon.
