50pc Circulated Eisenhower Dollar Grab Bag. Also known as the “IKE” dollar, this coin was produced from 1971 to 1978 and was named for the General of the Army and President Dwight David “Ike” Eisenhower. Due to the amount of copper-nickel it was a heavy coin, weighing about the same as four quarters. This contributed to it’s short time in circulation and was often saved as a memento of it's namesake.
